“Mariah Fund recently made a grant commitment of $500,000 to Boot Hill Museum, Dodge City, Kansas, beginning in 2019, to support Boot Hill Museum’s expansion plans to construct a new 7,000 square foot, $5.2 Million, new Museum building which will include a 3,000 square foot space for travelling exhibits to be named Mariah Gallery. Construction is expected to be completed in 2020”.
“Mariah Fund granted $11,046.32 to complete a County-wide found raising drive to build a new playground for children at the Lake. Working with Scott County, Kansas Community Foundation and Park Friends who had raised 60% of funds needed, the playground was completed in 2018. Lake Scott hosted 187,000 visitors the previous year”.
“Mariah Fund has been Presenting Sponsor of the LPGA-Symetra Tour event since 2015, the only LPGA event played in Kansas at this time. The Symetra Tour brings an average of 140 professional women players each year from over 13 foreign countries to SW Kansas, creating a local estimated economic benefit of over $1.3 Million annually. In her fourth year on the Symetra Tour, Allyssa Ferrell, a Michigan State alumna, captured her first career professional win as the 2018 Garden City Charity Classic winner.”
